How Our Epoxy Calculations Work

This site is designed to be transparent. The goal is not to hide the math, but to make the math usable for real purchasing decisions.

What the formulas do

The calculators start from geometry or coverage math, then add practical planning adjustments. Volume pages calculate raw capacity first. Coverage pages estimate material from area and thickness. Scenario pages then layer on waste, seepage, seal coat, and ordering margin.

Why the site reports both raw volume and recommended order quantity

Raw volume is the geometric minimum. Recommended order quantity is a planning number that reflects real project loss. Showing both values is more useful than pretending the raw number is enough.

What users should still verify

Always verify maximum pour depth, cure windows, mix ratio, and coverage claims against the product documentation you plan to buy. This site is a planning tool, not a replacement for the manufacturer data sheet.
